Deborah Werner studied Staatswissenschaften at the University of Erfurt and European Studies at Maastricht University. Since March 2009 she works at Maastricht University as research assistant for the EUDO Citizenship Observatory (from August 2009 fulltime). Deborah works on the Citizenship Bibliography and the Citizenship Statistics database. She also co-authors a comparative report together with Maarten Vink on citizenship statistics in European countries.

After sixteen months Deborah is leaving the EUDO Citizenship team in July 2010. Her work on the bibliographical and statistical databases has been invaluable. It has been a pleasure working together with Deborah and we wish her all the best in her future work.
