The GLOBALCIT team wishes to congratulate Jean-Thomas Arrighi for starting a new job as Senior Lecturer in Comparative Migration History at the University of Neuchâtel. Jean-Thomas worked as coordinator of our observatory between 2012 and 2015, before handing his tasks over to Jelena Dzankic. He contributed to a number of earlier projects of our observatory, including the FRACIT project on ‘Access the Franchise in the European Union’ and its subsequent expansion to the Americas, as well as the ACIT project on ‘Access to Citizenship and its Impact on Immigrant Integration’. Jean-Thomas’ tenure was characterised by creativity, critique, and energy. We expect him to take these qualities to the department that he is now joining.
